A sting Thursday resulted in charges for prostitution and pandering, Naperville Police said.
The Naperville Police Department’s special undercover unit regularly checks social media websites for suspected prostitution activity in the Western suburbs, said Naperville Police Department Sgt. Gregg Bell. Thursday’s arrests resulted from online communications and police setting up meetings at a location on Iroquois Avenue, he said.
Police made six arrests, with four women charged with prostitution and two men charged with pandering, among other charges, according to police reports.
Arrested Thursday were:
- Rachel Ann Graber, 26, of the 900 block of Central Avenue, St. Paul, MN. She was arrested at 6:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue. She was charged with prostitution. Her bail was $1,500.
- Nicole Andrea James, 19, of the 1000 block of Kane Street, South Elgin, was arrested at 5:12 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue. She was charged with prostitution. Her bail was $1,500.
- Doris Marie Keller, 35, of the 1800 block of Mechanic Avenue in St. Paul, MN. She was arrested at 4:06 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue. She was charged with prostitution. Her bond was $1,500.
- Christine Sue Obarr, 46, of the 400 block of Sunnybrook Lane, Wheaton, was arrested at 1:29 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue. She was charged with prostitution. Her bail was $1,500.
- Thomas William Evans, 22, of the 1000 block of Simms Avenue, St. Paul, MN, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue. He was charged with possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams and pandering. His bail was $1,500.
- Chucky Leroy Laster, 30, of the 3500 block of 16th Street, Rockford, was arrested at 5:12 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue where he was charged with pandering and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
