Oliver
Age: 10 years old
Breed: Chihuahua
Background: Oliver was rescued with 30 other dogs from Southern Illinois when his breeder/owner passed away. He has been in foster care with A.D.O.P.T. for one year!
Personality: Oliver is an older gent, but still has some pep in his step. He's sweet and gets along with other dogs and cats. Oliver loves to be outside in the sun, probably because he never got to go outside before. He weighs about 7 pounds and would do best in a quiet environment. He is a very special dog who deserves a loving home for the rest of his life.

Other: All animals at A.D.O.P.T. are vet checked, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and are up to date on age related vaccines.
Bumble
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Male - black - domestic short hair
Background: At A.D.O.P.T. since April 2011 and was an owner give up due to allergies.
Personality: Bumble is very easy going and, as you can see, very handsome! He gets along with other cats, loves pets and cuddling and he would make an excellent best friend for anyone. A short video of him is on our website under his picture. He can be found in Comm2.

Toodles Galore is a 9-month-old female domestic shorthair. She is a very sweet and gentle cat who was found as a stray. She can be a bit shy at first, but will warm up quickly. She loves to be petted and will purr loudly to greet you. She is good with other cats and may even be good with dogs. Stop in soon to meet Toodles Galore. She will not disappoint!
Mya is a 10-year-old cocker spaniel that found her way to NAHS due to her previous owners being unable to take care of her any longer. Mya is completely blind and would need a quiet home that can provide her with some extra TLC and help guide her though this big world. She would be good with cats, but would need to meet any potential canine companions. If you are looking for a new best friend to snuggle with, this sweet girl just might be the right dog for you.
More dogs add cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W.
