Michael Musko, Jr., age 87 of Naperville, IL passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Arden Court in Geneva, IL. He was born on February 6, 1924 in Benld, IL the son of Michael and Anne (Toy) Musko.
Mr. Musko served his country proudly with the United States Navy during World War II. Michael survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and was then stationed in the South Pacific. He was employed for many years, as an Electrical Engineer with Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, IL. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his children, Catherine (Anthony) Tonyan of Yorkville, IL, George (Sharon) Musko of Yorkville, IL, Thomas (Carrie) Musko of Montgomery, IL and Joseph Musko of Isle, IL; his grandchildren, Zach Tonyan, Alex Tonyan, Dana Rose Musko, Brittany (Daniel) Gregory and Tyler Musko; his sister, Midge Satterfield of Dearborn, MI; and his two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anne Musko; his granddaughter, Julie Ann Freund; his two brothers, George and Charles Musko; and his two sisters, Anna Mankes and Mickey Loman.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
