Possession

Daniel Robert Wilander, 20, of the 2600 block of Prairieview Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 8:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of Country Lakes Drive and Allister Lane, police said. He was charged with disregarding a stop sign, failing to signal, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, possession of liquor by a minor and having a fictitious/unlawfully altered ID. His bail was $1,500.

Suspended license

Jamila Lunette Smith, 34, of the 1400 block of Jericho Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 7:47 p.m. at the intersection of 111th and 248th Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $2,000.

Unlicensed

Juan Alfonso Hernandez, 33, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue was arrested at 3:08 a.m. at Fort Hill Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving without a rear license plate light and driving without a license. His bail was $1,500.

Warrant

  • Louise Lofton, 49, of the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court, was arrested at 6:10 p.m. at her home where she was charged on a failure to appear warrant, police said. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Jose Marcelo Hernandez, 30, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant from DuPage County. His bail was $1,000.
  • Brian Martin Taylor, 49, of the 900 block of Prospect Court, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged on four failure to appear warrants from DuPage County. He turned himself in to police. His bond was $175.
  • Robert Paul Doyle, 46, of the 100 block of General Cleburn Drive, Richmond, KY, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of Greensfield Drive, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. He was taken to the Will County Jail. 

Burglary

A 46-year-old man in the 1400 block of Encina Drive reported that someone burglarized his home between 1:15 and 1:45 p.m. A rear garage window was forced open and laptops were stolen from the kitchen table, police reported. 

Theft

A 53-year-old woman in the 1000 block of Amberwood Circle reported that someone pried the copper off her mailbox, police said.
