Criminal Damage to Property
Last week, Naperville police discovered the word “snow” spray-painted on two government-owned properties. On Sept. 4, police found the graffiti on the west side of a government building in the 700 block of Washington Street. On Sept. 8, police discovered the word painted on a sound barrier on Washington Street.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 7
Battery
Police said Troy Lee Davis, 42, of Wheaton, was charged with battery and bodily harm after he was arrested in the 1400 block of West Jefferson Avenue. Davis was taken to DuPage County Bond Court, according to the police report.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 8
Theft from Motor Vehicle
A laptop and passport were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 800 block of Spring Creek Circle.
Theft
A bicycle and rack valued at $700 were stolen from the front of a garage in the 1100 block of Preserve Avenue. The rack and bike were unsecured, according to police reports.
Burglary
Cans of beer were reported stolen from a garage refrigerator in a house on the 900 block of Mortonsberry Drive. The police report did not indicate the amount of beer reported stolen.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 9
Burglary
A mountain bike was reported stolen from the garage of a home in the 800 block of Spring Creek Circle. According to the police report, the garage door was open when the bicycle was believed to have been stolen. No monetary value for the bicycle given in the police report.
MONDAY, SEPT. 10
Battery
Eliziah T. Evans, 32, of 786 Inland Circle, was arrested for battery and bodily harm after an incident on the 300 block of Ogden Avenue, according to police.
