Unlawful use
Jeremiah Nygel Benjamin, 20, of the 3200 block of Pleasant Garden Road in Greensboro, NC, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of unlawful use of weapons, criminal trespass to a building and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Benjamin returned to a store after being asked to leave the day before. He was found in possession of two cannabis pipes and a switchblade knife inside of metal knuckles, and taken to DuPage County Bond Court, according to Naperville police.
Possession
David Joseph Heidorn, 18, of the 2400 block of Wendover Drive, was arrested at 11 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wehrli Road, police said. He was charged with failing to signal, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of liquor by a minor, possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, unlawful possession of firearms and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Warrant arrest
Alexander Scott Ricely, 19, of the 200 block of Barley Avenue, was arrested at 10:57 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $1,000.
Vehicle burglary
Police said a 35-year-old woman in the 2200 block of Aurora Avenue reported that a driver-side window was smashed out and a GPS, three pairs of sunglasses and two sets of iTouch chargers were removed from the vehicle sometime between 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Monday.
Theft
- A 13-year-old boy in the 1800 block of Brookdale Road reported a wallet stolen from a locker room between Thursday and Friday, police said.
- Police said a woman in the 400 block of Fairway Drive reported that her ladies Sun Streamway three-speed bicycle, with a bell that reads “I love my bike,” was stolen Saturday.
Criminal damage
Police said a 59-year-old man in the 1000 block of North Mill Street reported that someone damaged a bedroom window with a BB on Sunday night.
