The Ribfest lineup keeps growing and evolving. The Naperville Exchange Club announced earlier this week the addition of two more bands to the summer festival.
Along with the top headliners ZZ Top, Steve Miller and Joe Walsh, the Exchange Club announced the country band Heartsfield and jam band Leftover Salmon will be performing. Other bands include Joe Nichols and Thompson Square.
“With the addition of Heartsfield and Leftover Salmon to the already outstanding array of bands like Joe Walsh, Steve Miller, ZZ Top, Joe Nichols and Thompson Square, we have definitely brought the best mix of entertainment we could find this year,” said Mark Wright the 2012 Ribfest Chair in a news release. “A great way to celebrate our 25th Ribfest.”
The 25th Annual Ribfest will be held June 29-July 3 in Knoch Park. Money raised at the event is distributed to more than 50 local agencies that are working to eliminate child abuse and domestic violence.
For the first time, tickets are being sold date specific for all Ribfest entertainment. The tickets are available on the Ribfest website www.ribfest.net. The annual fireworks display will be held on July 3.
