Driving under the influence
Justin Scott Klan, 22, of the first block of Stewart Drive, was arrested at 2:49 a.m. at Brookdale Road and Manchester Street, Naperville police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and speeding.
Warrant arrest
Marius Pulokas, 22, of the 100 block of Malibu Drive in Romeoville, was arrested at 2:24 a.m. at Aurora Avenue ad South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving without a license and on an outstanding warrant. Police said he was stopped after he was seen in the BMW lot after hours. He had a number of jack stands and tire irons as well as a history of burglaries to motor vehicles. He was wanted on a failure-to-appear warrant related to burglary to a motor vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Vehicle burglary
- Police said a 36-year-old woman in the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court reported that sometime overnight a $300, a cash prepaid debit card for $30 and a cell phone charger were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
- A 32-year-old man in the 1300 block of Middleburg Road reported that sometime in the early morning Saturday, a computer, iPod and backpack were stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway. The loss was about $600, police said.
- Police said a 40-year-old woman in the 800 block of Beaumont Drive reported that between 4 and 10 p.m. Sunday a purse and attaché case were stolen from a vehicle.
Theft
A 55-year-old woman in the 400 block of Kensington Court reported she had work done at her home in December and she realized March 19 that a ring and a pair of earrings worth about $6,500 were missing. She suspects the thieves were the men who did the repairs while working for a Russian friend, who returned to Kiev, police said.
