Patch has contacted the Hodgkins Police Department. Officials have said Thursday's incident remains under investigation and no information regarding charges for the alleged armed robbers has been released.

No injuries were reported when a car carrying two alleged armed robbers crashed into two other cars at Weber Road and Boughton Road, according to Bolingbrook police.
llinois State Police, the Hodgkins Police and Bolingbrook Police departments led a joint investigation in the incident, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter.
Bolingbrook police arrested one suspect who was hiding in a Chili's dumpster, according to police. Illinois State Police arrested the second subject.
Hodgkins police took both suspects into custody.

Hodgkins Police Department officials say Thursday's armed robbery remains under investigation. No formal charges have been announced.
A Bolingbrook Patch reader said her husband and children were in one of the cars hit by the alleged armed robbers. They are experiencing pain and soreness, she said.
Many readers reported seeing police with guns drawn in the area and cops taking one man in handcuffs out of Chili's.

Two people were taken into custody Thursday night following a high-speed police chase that ended in Bolingbrook, according to Illinois State Police.
The pair allegedly committed an armed robbery at an AT&T store in Hodgkins, IL. They then fled the area in a Red Oldsmobile Alero, according to the Northern Illinois Fireground Photos Facebook page. The driver reportedly was armed with a 9mm handgun. Illinois State Police spotted the car on I-55 and tried to pull the car over. When the offenders' car did not stop, ISP began pursuit.

Northern Illinois Fireground Photos reported the car to clock a speed of 100 mph on I-55 to I-80 eastbound. The page also reported the car was trying to force police squads off the road.
Both Illinois State Police and Hodgkins Police pursued the car to Weber and Boughton Roads in Bolingbrook. That's where the car crashed into two other cars. Residents reported seeing the crash and both driver and passenger running from the car, trying to evade police.
The pair were taken into custody following the crash, which caused minor property damaged, according to ISP. There was no report of injuries from the crash.

The incident took place around 7 p.m. Hodgkins is about 14 miles away from Bolingbrook along I-55.
