A resident saw a teenage male on April 3 exit his vehicle and then hide a cannabis pipe behind a tree, police said. The teen was driving a silver four-door vehicle at the Ashbury Aquatic Center Parking lot in the 3400 block of Lawrence Drive. The pipe was collected and submitted to police evidence.

A resident on March 31 reported that his house has been repeatedly toilet papered, egged and his windows sprayed with soapy water in the 2300 block of Wild Timothy Road, police said.

Hit and Run, Then Sleep
Cody T. Dieter, 22, of the 2000 block of Normandy Lane, Geneva, was charged at 1:53 p.m. March 30 in the 500 block of Walnut Avenue with leaving the scene of a vehicle-damage accident, and improper lane use. Called for a report of a suspicious vehicle at 7:12 a.m., police found Dieter’s vehicle with extensive damage parked facing west along the eastbound lane of Walnut Avenue.
Police said Dieter's vehicle had traveled on the parkway after hitting the curb and ended up back on the roadway. Police later learned Dieter was home asleep. At 1 p.m. he came to the police station, where he was charged. Dieter posted $150 bond and was released pending a May 2 court appearance.

Who's At the Door?
A woman at 8:09 p.m. March 28 said there was someone at her door in the 200 block of Jackson Road. There was a white car in the driveway. She has a "No Soliciting" sign on her property and was not expecting anyone, so she wanted the person removed. The visitor turned out to be someone delivering flowers.

Free Landscaping
Someone drove onto a resident's lawn overnight and damaged a light post adjacent to the driveway in the 1100 block of 79th Street. The total loss was $200.
