Sweet home Naperville.
That may not be the destination in Lynyrd Skynrd's iconic rock anthem "Sweet Home Alabama," but the band will call the city home on July 7 when they headline this summer's Naperville Exchange Club's Ribfest on the Navistar Stage in Knoch Park.

“Our line-up for Ribfest is outstanding as usual and with the addition of Lynyrd Skynyrd we are sure to please the rock and roll fans of all ages,” Ribfest 2013 chair Marty Walker said in a release.
The 26th annual Ribfest runs from July 3 through 7 and will have plenty of family activities, live music and, of course, rib vendors from across the country. All proceeds from Ribfest go to support the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence, according to the Exchange Club of Naperville.
Lynyrd Skynyrd joins Rick Springfield and STYX on the list of musicians set to perform at Ribfest 2013. Springfield will play July 6 in Knoch Park and STYX is the opening act on July 3.
Additional performers will be announced in the coming months.
Tickets go on sale in the spring on www.ribfest.net. For more information, visit Naperville Exchange Club’s Ribfest Facebook page or follow @Ribfest_NXC on Twitter.
