- What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
During my tenure as City Councilman, I believe that I have contributed to the growth of Naperville, and preservation of the quality of life that we enjoy in Naperville. I base this on my record of commitment to ensure quality city services, while also serving as a leader in the fight to cut costs and control spending by our city government.
- What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?
If elected, I promise the residents that I will continue to control spending, cut expenses without affecting city services, and maintain our balanced budget.
I bring to the Council a wealth of political and business experience, with 24 years serving the citizens of Naperville, while continuing to make sure the resident’s voice is heard.
My wife, Cyndee and I were married in Naperville in 1969 and have raised our family here.
The Riverwalk is one of my favorite places in Naperville, not only as a place where people can enjoy being outdoors, but also for the spirit of volunteerism instrumental it its’ construction.
In response to a recent citizens’ survey, the residents and I agree 100% that traffic congestion is the top problem area.
