Background: Found as a stray with his mom and siblings.
Personality: Shy at first but warms up and loves to play with toys and lasers.Loves to be petted. Will need someone cat-savvy and patient.

Age: 5 Years Old
Breed: Female Domestic Short Hair - Gray Tabby
Background: Came to A.D.O.P.T. from Chicago Animal Control in January 2012.
Personality: Agnes is a queen size lady with a personality that speaks for itself. Because of her size, she has become arthritic - She needs to lose weight and is on an exercise program here at the shelter. She loves her belly rubs and believe it or not being a plus size does not prevent her from playing a good game of chase. She can be found lazing in the Sun Room.

Mike
Age: 3 1/2 years old
Breed: Puggle
Background: Mike came to ADOPT in December 2012 from Aurora animal control.
Personality: Mike is a sweet mild-mannered boy. When he arrived at A.D.O.P.T., Mike was found to have a soft tissue sarcoma on his foot. This tumor has been removed but the area needs to be monitored so that it doesn't reoccur. Mike is looking for a forever home who can provide him a lifetime of love, companionship and, if needed, special care.
