Police Blotter: Missing Santa, Taking Money From a Baby, Retail Theft Arrest

Possession of drug paraphernalia

David Benjamin Boies, 20, of the 500 block of Seville Avenue, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. near Book Road and Tamahawk Lane, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with muffler defects, possession of drug paraphernalia and no rear registration. His bond was $120.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Steven Timothy Simmons, 18, of the 30W 0-99 block of Valencia Court, was arrested at 10:47 p.m. near North River Road and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, illegal possession/transportation of liquor, possession of liquor by a minor, violating lamps and lights act, possession cancelled/suspended/revoked license/permit and bail bond violation. He was transportation to DuPage County Jail.
  • Wynter Kathleen Lopez, 33, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 8:41 p.m. in the 600 block of South Route 59, police said. She was charged with no insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bond was $200. 

Retail theft arrest

Demarco Trajuan Johnson, 18, of the 1500 block of Fairway Drive, was arrested at 2:47 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.

Missing Santa

A 16-foot inflatable Santa was taken from an outside display in the 900 block of West 75th Street, police said. 

Stolen TV

On Tuesday, Nov. 11 around 6 p.m., a 5 foot 10, 140-pound 20- to 25-year-old black male came into Walmart and stole a 42 inch Vizio HD flat screen TV out of the pharmacy door. Value of the television is $528.00, police said.

Taking money from a baby

A wallet was stolen from a stroller at Nichols Library, police said.
