Police Blotter: Scrooge Cuts Christmas Lights, Theft, Road Rage

Monday, Dec. 3

Theft

Darius Javon Harris, 19, of the 2300 block of Overlook Court was arrested at 4:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Indian Trail, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with theft and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Warrant arrest

Luis E. Ramirez, 47, of the 300 block of East Norman in Wheeling, was arrested at 12:56 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant.

Leaving scene of accident

Roman Michael McCord, 21, of the 2800 block of Bluewater Circle was arrested at 3:29 p.m. near 75th Avenue and Washington Street, police said. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance. His bond was $200.

Criminal trespass

Connor James Gilroy, 20, of the 600 block of Flock Avenue was arrested at 9:23 p.m. in the 600 block of Flock Avenue, police said. He was charged with knowingly damaging property and criminal trespass to a building. He was transported to DuPage County bond court.

iPhone stolen at church

An Apple iPhone 5 was stolen at Bethany Lutheran Church, police said.

Computer stolen

A computer was stolen from inside a business in the 200 block of South Washington Street, police said.

Attempted theft

Attempted theft of a spare tire was reported in the 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said.

Scrooge cuts Christmas lights

Someone cut the electrical cord to Christmas lights in the 2200 block of Gleneagles Drive, police said.

Road rage

Someone pushed and then punched a person following a traffic altercation in the 600 block of North Route 59, police said.
